Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate is a preservative derived from glycine, which is a naturally-occurring amino acid. It serves as a natural alternative to parabens and protects against bacteria, yeast and mold.
Potassium Sorbate is a potassium salt and a variation of sorbic acid. Its anti-microbial properties extend product shelf life by stopping the growth of harmful bacteria and mold.
Sodium gluconate is a natural preservative that prevents the growth of microbes in products. It also works as a chelator to help cleansing products foam better in hard water.
Polysorbate is a surfactant that helps break up oil and water, lubricates hair, and helps stabilize fragrances.

Cetyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol that helps condition and soften hair, helps keep water and oils together, and helps products to spread effectively.
Stearyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol that softens and coats hair and also helps to thicken product formulas.
Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine is a fatty agent derived from glycine, a naturally occurring amino acid, that conditions hair strands, reduces static, and helps smooth the cuticle layer. It can also be used as a surfactant to help cleanse hair.
Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride is a conditioning agent that helps to detangle hair.
Sodium gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid and is produced by fermentation of glucose. It is a white granular, crystalline solid which is very soluble in water. It is non corrosive, non toxic,
PVP (Polyvinylpyrrolidone) is a binder, film former, and emulsion stabilizer that helps keep oil and liquid components together. It can form a thin coating on hair to provide hold and seal moisture.
